This pressure switch has three ports. The two ports that are located in the same plane are connected and can be used to let gas flow through the switch, possibly lowering the necessary number of parts and easing integration of the switch. The third port can be used to sense differences between two pressure levels. The switching point is being set in the factory, very low switching points are also possible. The small design is intended for use on circuitboards, two pins serve as the electrical connection. The switch is being delivered as single pole single throw normally open (SPST N.O.). A positive pressure is defined as pressure from the side with two ports towards the side of the switch with a single port.
