Can sense the difference between two pressure levels as well as positive and negative pressure. Switching point: Pressure: 5 - 800 mbar Vacuum: 10 - 800 mbar Contact arrangement: Single pole, single throw, normally open or normally closed (SPST N.O. or N.C.) Upper port can be delivered with a different orientation than the lower port This pressure switch is usually used to sense differences between two pressure levels, but can also be used to sense pressure or vacuum. The switch is optimised for use on circuitboards, therefore the electrical contacts are two 1.0 mm pins. Furthermore the upper part of the pressure switch can be delivered with a different orientation of the upper pressure port compared to the lower port. The low tolerance of ±5% in a wide range and low hysteresis are also features of this switch. The switching point can be changed by the user with a adjusting screw. The switch can be delivered as single pole single throw normally open or normally closed (SPST N.O. or N.C.) and with silver-alloy or gold-alloy contacts.
Can be used as a vacuum pressure switchSwitching point: Vacuum: 10 - 800 mbarElectrical design: Normally closed contact This variant of the well-known PSW-A6 is designed purely as a vacuum switch. Only one air connection is available for the vacuum side. Electrically, this pressure switch is the reverse version of the PSW-A6. As the contacts are on the other side, this switch is only available as an NC contact. The switch is optimised for use on printed circuit boards. Therefore, two 1.0 mm pins are available as electrical connections. The low tolerance of ±5% over a wide range and low hysteresis also characterise this model. The pressure switching point can be changed by the user via the adjusting screw. The mutual position of the screw in relation to the pins facilitates mounting on the PCB. The switch is available as a normally closed contact with gold or silver plated contacts. The complete pressure range cannot be covered by a single model; different springs are used for different ranges. Attention: Due to its small size, the model has only short spring travel. If in doubt, please enquire whether a specific pressure can be set with a specific model.A desired switching point is only possible from an order quantity of 50 pieces.
For air and other non-hazardous gases Can be ordered for sensing pressure Switching point: Pressure: 10 mbar Single pole, single throw, normally open This pressure switch is designed to sense pressure in air and other non-hazardous gases. The small size is intended for circuitboards. The upper pressure port is not connected, the freed space is used for blade terminals. The switch is being delivered as single pole single throw normally open. This pressure switch is capable of very low switching points, which are being set in the factory.
Differential pressure switch with three ports, this switch is designed for direct integration into the pressure system Switching points: Pressure: 3 mbar Contact arrangement: Single pole, single throw, normally open (SPST N.O.) For air and other non-hazardous gases This pressure switch has three ports. The two ports that are located in the same plane are connected and can be used to let gas flow through the switch, possibly lowering the necessary number of parts and easing integration of the switch. The third port can be used to sense differences between two pressure levels. The switching point is being set in the factory, very low switching points are also possible. The small design is intended for use on circuitboards, two pins serve as the electrical connection. The switch is being delivered as single pole single throw normally open (SPST N.O.). A positive pressure is defined as pressure from the side with two ports towards the side of the switch with a single port.
For air and other non-hazardous gases Switching point: Pressure: 1000 mbar (not in the complete data sheet range adjustable with the same spring) Contact arrangement: Single pole, single throw, normally closed This pressure switch is able to sense pressure or vacuum in air and other non-hazardous gases. The switch is usually used as a control element in pressure systems, because of its sturdiness and low hysteresis. The small design and relatively high acceptable current make integration easy. The switch is available with a number of different pressure connections. The switch is available as single pole single throw normally open or normally closed (SPST N.O. or N.C.).
For air, water, oils, jet fuel, other hydrocarbons Switchingpoint pre set, but can be adjusted by the user within selected pressure ranges:0,2-0,6 / 0,5-2 / 1-3 / 1,5-4 / 2-5 / 3-8 / 4-10 bar Contact arrangement: one or two pieces single pole, double throw - 16 A / 250 VAC This pressure switch is designed for operation with higher switching current, furthermore the switch can endure a wide range of temperatures (120 °C). Typical applications are therefore water pump systems or heavy machinery. Pressure can be sensed in air, water and also hydrocarbons by use of different diaphragm materials. In the switch itself is a set screw, allowing the user to change the switching point within the delivered pressue range.
Pressure and differential switch with rotary control to set switching point Contact arrangement: Single pole double throw (SPDT) For air and other, non combustible, non agressive gases Multitude of models to cover 0.2 mbar - 50 mbar as a pressure switch or 0.1, 0.2, 1, 1.5, 2.5 mbar as a differential switch Model Switching point Differential PSW-A3-02 0,2 ~ 2 mbar 0,1 mbar PSW-A3-03 0,3 ~ 3 mbar 0,1 mbar PSW-A3-04 0,4 ~ 4 mbar 0,2 mbar PSW-A3-05 0,5 ~ 5 mbar 0,2 mbar PSW-A3-10 2 ~ 10 mbar 1 mbar PSW-A3-25 5 ~ 25 mbar 1,5 mbar PSW-A3-50 10 ~ 50 mbar 2,5 mbar This pressure switch is outfitted with a rotary switch to facilitate changes to the switching point by the user. During normal operations the rotary switch is protected by a plastic cover, while allowing the set switch point to be read. Especially when multiple units are used in identical settings this reduces work load and saves time during setup. The included plastic cover of the pressure switch offers a protection level of IP54. Usually this switch is used to monitor the air flow in ventilation systems and heat exchangers. The device is available as a single pole double throw (SPDT) switch. Furtherfore the switch is also capable of sensing differences between two pressure levels. Assembly is possible with the holes in the feet.
